WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2005--eJury,
L.L.C., an Arlington, Texas-based company offering state-of-the-art
electronic jury consultation services, and Winning Works, L.L.C. , a
Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm offering advanced trial
strategies for attorneys, today announced a joint venture that will
provide trial attorneys with jury analysis and feedback. As a result
of this partnership, trial attorneys will be able to help determine
key opinions among the targeted jury pool, and be aware of them
before the jury is seated.
The new venture,
combining the best of technology and people from both companies,
will test jurors in numerous venues around the country to help
discover preconceived notions they have about product liability
cases, class actions, malpractice cases, and more. Jury feedback
analysis will be used to determine the most favorable methods to
present issues to juries in an effort to win the case.
"As a trial lawyer, I know some jurors are predisposed to siding
with a particular issue or a certain party before they ever walk
into the courtroom," said Chris Bagby, CEO of eJury. "This new
venture will allow us to team with some of the nation's best
attorneys and trial consultants to discover how to proactively
identify the pertinent information for a jury trial."
The joint agreement between the companies will include three
geographic segments in the country - counties with less than 200,000
residents, counties with between 200,000-999,000 residents, and
counties with over 1,000,000 residents. The jurors will be selected
based upon the actual demographics of the county they reside in,
including race, gender, household income, age, educational
background, and more.
"Never before have we been able to test such a large segment of
the population on so many pivotal issues," said Richer Jenson of
Winning Works. "Not only will our results reveal the best venue
choices generally, but they will show which trial themes work in
which jurisdictions."
